In Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility, how do you clear the path to the mountain?

I'm in Winter, year 1.


I have no clue how to unblock the mountain path. I got Luke to cut the root to the forest, is it something similar?


Or is it like the path to Brownie Ranch where it just kinda... Happens overnight?In Harvest Moon Tree of Tranquility, how do you clear the path to the mountain?
you have to get darins rainbow and you get a cutscene about darins badge that helps you go over the rainbow bridge then bens rainbow and then you have his badge cutscene but you find out that he lost it by the gull islands so then you have to complete collins rainbow and you walk around the island and you find bens badge after that you go and talk to ben and he makes you say please then gives you his badge and bens rainbow is what you use to get to mt. gelato and if you want to clear the path to it in caramel river district you have to smash the rocks from inside mt. gelato
