No, it's not going to snow tonight but the fallen snow will turn to ice. So in the morning ask your other half to walk down the path before you. If she falls you know which slippery patches to avoid.
Sounds about right to me and no need for a coat as if she puts some effort into it they she will stay warm. If you don't keep them busy they can start to get lazy.
If you put down salt on your drive and someone comes along and slips on it, after you have salted it, they can sue you.

She might be wiser putting the salt on YOU...or leaving you in the snow.
if you don't think she would mind to much would you ask her to bag some up and send it to me . as my kids are well disappointed because it did not snow here .
